Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0An irrational number cannot be expressed in the form p/q whereas a rational number can be expressed in the p/q form. Rational numbers have either a terminating decimal representation or a nonterminating but recurring/repeating decimal representation whereas irrational numbers have a nonterminating and nonrepeating decimal representation. Since sqrt(127) is a nonterminating and non repeating decimal expansion, the given number is an irrational number.
