Hey, I need help with algebra. I need to figure out which is the independent and dependent qualities for the situation and find reasonable domain and range values. 1) Tom has $8.00. He wants to buy oranges which cost $0.75 cents a piece?

    oranges are a function of dollars the numbers of oranges bought depends on the number of dollars that tom has

    yeah the money is the independent variable , number of oranges is the dependent variable because the number of oranges depends of the number of dollars

    the domain , is all the possibilities for the independent variable the range , is all the possibilities for the dependent variable
