    This is a proportion. -5/8c = 20/1 To solve a proportion, cross multiply 20(8c) = -5(1) 160c = -5 Then divide both sides by 160 c = -5/160 c = -1/32

    with 32 I got -20 and with -32 it was WAY off, I'm confused now....

    -1/32 checks... in addition this calculator said -1/32 is right as well: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=-5+%2F+8x+%3D+20 the multiple choice options are all wrong
