This is a proportion. 5/8c = 20/1 To solve a proportion, cross multiply 20(8c) = 5(1) 160c = 5 Then divide both sides by 160 c = 5/160 c = 1/32

with 32 I got 20 and with 32 it was WAY off, I'm confused now....

1/32 checks... in addition this calculator said 1/32 is right as well: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=5+%2F+8x+%3D+20 the multiple choice options are all wrong
