    You have to isolate the x. So you subtract 6x to both sides and add 13. Hope it helped. You can solve it! GO YOU! (:

    6x+7=8x-13 -7 -7 < Subtract 7 from both sides. 6x =8x-20 -8x -8x < Subtract 8x from both sides -2x =-20 Divide both sides by -2 x=10
