Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0http://electriciantraining.tpub.com/14185/css/14185_72.htm try this link n here is the explanation: your numbers are 921 ok BCD equivalent for that is : 9=1001 2=0010 1=0001 so this makes your number 100100100001 ok??? similary for the second number 763: 7=0111 6=0110 3=0011 this makes your number as:011101100011 ok??? now add the two numbers n follow the link i gave you because in BCD you have to be careful about the allowed and valid numbers if 1111 appears in addition then you need to add a correction factor since 1111 is not permissible in BCD . hope it helps. look out for carries as well. check links http://fullchipdesign.com/bcda.htm http://fullchipdesign.com/bcdex.htm
