What is the domain of the following function? screenshot attached.
domain is the set of x values you can put into the function so since it starts at -2 on the x axis and continues infinitely onwards domain: x>-2
greater than or equal too -2
itc c option is correct because line contain -2 point on x axis also that is why ,also value is increassing furture from -2.
to see if a quadratic has any solutions you will have to use the formula for the descriminant b²-4ac 3=a 5=b 10=c sub them in if x <0 no real solutions x=0 1solution x>0 2 solutions
well it is less than zero you don't need the exact value you just need to know if it is negative, zero or positive
lol as i stated before <0 is no real solutions =0 is 1 repeated solution >0 is 2 solutions
well done :D any more questions?
this is a horrible graph... i can not say for sure what the answer is, but I would say C, sorry about that
