Write the equation of the line which passes through (2, –3) and is perpendicular to y = 4x + 7 in standard form. my answer is y=-1/4x-7/2

    but i get this Y=-1/4x+b -3=-1/4(2) +b -3=-1/2+b b=-7/2 Y=-1/4x-7/2

    if c=-5/2 m=-1/4 then y=mx+c y=(-1/4)x-5/2
