Why was Romeo and Juliet so influencial?

    Well it was famous because it was supposed to send a message that love conquers all. These two teenagers perfectly aware of the intense hatred their parents had for each went out of their way risking life and limb to be with each other. Even though it ended in tragedy its still regarded as one of the most beautiful love stories of all time.
