I'm from Brazil, portuguese is my home language. I'm glad to help you with any doubts.
That's good. So what you you think will be the best way to learn?
Well, portuguese is a hard language to learn, especially if you want to study grammar. But at least here in Brazil we are used to foreigners. So we can understand quite well when people start speaking in a simple portuguese, even if they can't conjugate properly or make some other mistakes. So depends for what use you want to learn the language, if it is only for communication on a trip I believe you will find some nice online courses to learn the basics. I used once Livemocha.com and found it very helpfull, but today I know it's charged.
If you have questions about how to say something, translating or grammar, I'll be glad to help.
Like Patricia, I live in Brazil - Portuguese is my mother tongue - and would be pleased to help you in need. Please, feel free to ask. The first question is, why are you learning Portuguese for? I mean, job, trip, or just for fun? Your answer would allow us better understand your needs.
