Joe stacks the cans in the Pitch Ball game. The bottom row has 12 cans. Each row has 2 fewer cans that the row below it. How many cans will be in the fifth row?

    draw 12 cans on the bottom and go up taking away 2 cans each time

    no wait.. there would still be 4 cans in row 5... because the question said 2 fewer cans than the rows BELOW it... so 4 would be the answer..
