Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1More acidic means more [H+] and less acidic (more basic) means less [H+]. pH 10 is less acidic (more basic) than neutral pH 7 so there is less [H+].

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1You're right, it's a logarithmic relationship: pH means log[H+] and pH = 7 means \[\log_{10}(1\times10^{7}) = 7\] so the difference between \[10^{10}\] and \[ 10^{7}\] is x1000
