Two masses are connected in a pulley system as shown in the figure. Assume both pulleys are frictionless, and also assume that the strings and pulleys are of negligible mass. If M1 = 95 kg and M2 = 8 kg, what is the acceleration of block 1 in the y direction? What is the acceleration of block 2 in the y direction?
