it's not like that. Space & time aren't dimensions themselves. When we say we can experience 4 dimensions, we mean we can experience 3 spatial (space) dimensions & 1 time dimension. String theory, for example predicts 7 spatial & 4 time dimensions, giving 11 dimensions in total.

  • anonymous
@rajathsbhat i am surprised by your astounding answer that space & time ain't dimension
anonymous
  • anonymous
and later you've said space is a dimension
anonymous
  • anonymous
and i am asking beyond space and time, even string theory describes 7 dimensions of SPACE i am interested to know dimension beyond that :)
anonymous
  • anonymous
i said there are 3 dimension in space(x, y, z axes) & 1 in time. 'space' itself isn't a dimension.
anonymous
  • anonymous
well i am sure space is a dimension and there are three reference coordinates to describe that dimension
anonymous
  • anonymous
you need to read up on the definition of 'dimension'
anonymous
  • anonymous
no dimentions are there beyond space & time rather than 'god'

OR wait till @unklerhaukus gets here.

@rajathsbhat thank you, i am sure about my answer and i believe we both need to go through it @009infinity that's an interesting answer and this can take us to a new level of rationale ...@unklerhaukus would you like to give your time

are there any one intrested in knowing the fact about origin of dimention according to hindu mythology it ultimate truth...............
anonymous
  • anonymous
sure, if it explains something with a perfect logic
anonymous
  • anonymous
sorry its 'dimension'
anonymous
  • anonymous
ok then remain there

yea i am there

but be brief and precise , thank you

a point a line an area a volume a space-time a possible space-time all possible space-times (ie universe) all possible universes
anonymous
  • anonymous
just brilliant. smh. (But I'm not sure what you're trying to say lol :P)
anonymous
  • anonymous
@UnkleRhaukus after all universes???????????????????
UnkleRhaukus
  • UnkleRhaukus
hmm i cannot imagine more than all possible universes , can you?
anonymous
  • anonymous
lol
anonymous
  • anonymous
yeh ! beyond thought all materialisti non materialistic universe are submerged in cosmic sea origin of which is lord vishnu
UnkleRhaukus
  • UnkleRhaukus
maybe, but how can we be sure ?
anonymous
  • anonymous
what is origin of surity???? its what we imagine and purification of thoughts
anonymous
  • anonymous
and also its belief. so believe
UnkleRhaukus
  • UnkleRhaukus
independent objective measurement that agree are origins for certainty
anonymous
  • anonymous
can u measure ur self???????????
UnkleRhaukus
  • UnkleRhaukus
yep, in a mirror but it would not be an objective measurement
anonymous
  • anonymous
i think ur measurement by u depends on ur thinking about urself
anonymous
  • anonymous
if u think u r mirror captive then u will be.. got it??????? i think im infinite so i m
UnkleRhaukus
  • UnkleRhaukus
thats not that same infinite that i agree on
UnkleRhaukus
  • UnkleRhaukus
\[\bowtie\]
anonymous
  • anonymous
ok its ur thinking ?? sory if irritated
UnkleRhaukus
  • UnkleRhaukus
if our infinities dont agree then why would we use the same word
anonymous
  • anonymous
because boundation on infinity is created when humans are created , human tends to infinity god is pure infinity so human tends to god
anonymous
  • anonymous
okay you just made that up lol x)
anonymous
  • anonymous
@UnkleRhaukus do u want to reply on that
UnkleRhaukus
  • UnkleRhaukus
infinity was there before the humans and way before human gods
anonymous
  • anonymous
thanks a lot !! for your off track, scope of dimension lol...i think i can figure that out, let's see if the dimension MIND(i call it as dimension) can take me some new extremity because it is all the mind that manupulates every phenomenon and gives an insight to us :)
anonymous
  • anonymous
yes all right @unkleRhaukus i agree :)
