practicing can boost your confidence by a ton. just think of something that makes you happy and keep your head up and do what you do best. it's not about how good you are, it's how bad you want it. never give up.

Just close your eyes before you audition and imagine your in your room by yourself, feel the air on your face and breath or you could imagine your in a quiet place. Go out there and feel the emotion in what ever your doing, it will start too feel soo natural that you'll forget your at the audition and you will just feel like your just doing what you normally do when your by yourself :) Good luck.

Practice, practice, practice! If all else fails, practicing is the only thing left you can lean on! I can't stress this enough - having auditioned for several orchestras already despite being young and playing viola for less than a year. When on the stage, close your eyes for a few seconds, take a small breath, and rely on your practicing. It's one of the ways to go, and for me, it's the only way to go. Good luck on whatever you're doing!

You shouldn't worry. Think of it this way; everyone is there because they love what you love. Don't try the underwear trick. It get REALLY creepy when the elderly are in the audience. I personally take deep breaths and pretend I'm just in my room. Other good ways are to try to get on stage as often as possible. Don't be a stage hog, just involve yourself, it gets better every time. I sing a lot so when I got a solo I was excited, but I was scared. It works. When, I looked at the audience was when I flipped because there were thousands of people, but then I got over it with my methods and I was invited back for a bigger solo. Don't worry. Hope this helps.
