The volume of a rectangular prism is m^3+8m^2+19m+12 Find the area of the base of the prism if the height = m + 3.

    volume of rectangular prism = (base area) * (height) so what we have to do is (volume) / height = base area so base area = (m^3+8m^2+19m+12)/(m + 3) can you try to factor the numerator ?
