    first, multiply out of the brackets 4(x-2)=4x-8 re write 4x-8-x=3x-8 move all x's onto one side, and all constants onto the other side, finish it from there

    it is 0 because 0=0 is true, it is only no solution if it is incorect, example, 4=0 thats no solution
