Your welcome.
George Washington became our first president. This started our president system which still exist today! In 1803 the United States bought the Louisiana Purchase which brought a lot of states into our great country. In the presidential election of 1800 Thomas vs Adams competed for the president position. This led to the demise of the Federalist party. In addition, Jefferson's eventual triumph concluded America's most acrimonious presidential campaign to date. It is therefore considered the pivotal election of the First Party System, and is legally the only U.S. election which the College Board is capable of testing you on.

you can squeeze this in there somewhere... George Washington refused a third term for president. John Adams, George Washington's Vice President, took his spot. During his term, Adams strengthened our navy and army.
