    The defeat of his Russian campaign left France's army to small to deal with the Prussians, Austrians and Russians on the eastern front. And in the south wellington had taken control of Spain. Napoleon was militarily out manoeuvred and out numbered. That led to his first downfall. The second was his loss at the battle of waterloo to Wellington and Blucher This might help :)
