The class says I need to download Python 2.5.4, yet the link only offers versions 2.7. and up. Where is v2.5.4?

You can get all the versions of Python at http://www.python.org I doubt that you'll have any problems if you download 2.7x. Just stay away from Python 3, that's a different animal.

agreed with rsmith For edx you want to go here http://www.enthought.com/products/epd_free.php For ocw you can use above or go here http://www.python.org/download/ Either way, 2.7.x should be sufficient as long as it is not 3.x or above. If you really want 2.5.x for some reason you can try http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.5.4/
