Is there a way to close/remove subject tabs from the bottom of the page? I don't want subjects I looked at only once and will never look at again showing up.

    the blue bar up top tells you all the subjects that you have visited; if you pull down the blue bar, it has the option to "stop studying". This should unsubscribe you from that group;

    amistre has the right answer for what you seem to be asking; the stop studying button will not only remove the chat, but will also prevent you from getting any information about that group, thus theoretically making things run faster for you.q
