    false for sure, there's a bunch of underground pop music. and different styles of pop that aren't as "popular" as others. Sum 41, Blink 182. (pop punk) ya dig?

    if you mean historically, yes. Pop is a short term for popular. If you mean literally, then no. Obviously not all pop music are famous.
