Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0The description of an element as solid, liquid or gas are called the elements phases. Elements are collected together in the periodic table. There are some really great websites with periodic tables sorted in interesting ways: http://periodictable.com/Properties/A/Phase.st.log.html try this one, solids are red, liquid white, gas blue. Loads of other information on the elements here too.
