    They are similar things. Try to understand first. What does the question says? it says : x is less than or equal to 0 Where is something less than zero? when it's on the left? Right? -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 As you can see the values on the left are decreasing. agree will here?

    Perfect. And now it says that it's "less than and equal to" , meaning it will be a solid line.. Hence a solid line and shading on left.
