    start nearest the phrase "cousin's age" since that's what the variable "m" is... 2 times (his cousins age) = 2m

    @charlotte123 do you see how to get "2m-4" from that word problem? It is correct, as you may have guessed by now... but do you understand why?

    yes I do see :) I just wanted to check if my answer was correct ;3 I put 2m - 4 for my answer on my worksheet bad needed to check just in case :) thanks everyone for the help :D
