I have experienced multiple users that have gotten in a relationship and call each other "babe" and are very flirtatious and what not. if you would like to see this for yourself go to Music chat, if you would like to know further details of the users please DM me :) @myininaya

That's not really the way it works SWAG. If you see people hitting on each other or otherwise violating the code of conduct, you report it. If you don't, there's nothing we can do about it. If there are people who happen to be dating and are on OpenStudy, they are free to call each other however they like provided it is appropriate. We're not going to prohibit people from entering a relationship (the mere thought of trying to enforce that is ludicrous), but that is something that should happen in private, not in public. Again, if you see flirtatious/inappropriate behavior, please report it. We are not going to DM you for details, as we don't have time to periodically DM all users to see what they spot. That is what the report abuse button is for: so that you can tell us.

Folks, this isn't a discussion. Talking about playas and what have you is inappropriate. Instead of warning anyone involved about that or the fact that you once again transported a conversation far off topic, I deleted the offending content and let you go about your lives. Next time, I will be sure to be less accommodating. In the meantime, move on.

Shadowfiend, there's no good reason to delete those posts, nor was there any good reason to close my last question. Quit letting your personal dislike for me affect your moderating decisions.

And that's fine for you. When we're trying to have a serious discussion, the moderators will moderate it. It's like it's in our name! It's brilliant! Your previous question was, as pointed out there, closed because of your condescending attitude. You can either change that attitude, or take it elsewhere. Which of the two you do is your choice. I have consistently shown little patience for condescension and bad attitude, no matter whose post I'm dealing with. To decide that it's personal simply shows you haven't been paying attention to my broader interactions on this site. Which is fine, there's no reason for you to do so. However, it means you have no data to base your accusations on, making them, in the common parlance, baseless.

As per the Code of Conduct: “As an OpenStudier, I will: Be Nice—I will stay positive, be friendly, and not mean” Condescension is essentially the polar opposite of this guideline. I will leave the remaining conclusions to you.

Listen up, Chumps. This is how it is. If two people meet on OpenStudy and want to flirt they can take it to private chat and not do it publicly! If two people like each other on OpenStudy and want to date in the privacy of their own chat, then they can. If they are doing this outside of their own private chats then report them. No one wants to see nor cares about their flirting. OpenStudy is not a dating site, but that doesn't mean you can build relationships with people in private. Lastly, OpenStudy is a social community as much as a school community. The next person to post another pointless, meaningless, and otherwise misleading topic to incite drama, I will come to their house and bomb it with an AC-130

SAGE, SAGE, SAGE. Stop replying to this topic or close it. No laws are being broken. If they're not talking sexually or distributing child pornography then everything is a-okay. Each time you post on this topic you kill a baby. Everyone poster under me supports killing babies.

I think the creator of openstudy is happy. The fact that teens come here for answers, and stay for the friends the meet is cool. Whether it's boyfriend, girlfriends, bestfriends, or just friends. It's like a public school for homeschool kids, whats wrong with that? Last time I checked they're are no drugs being dealt, no babies being made, and no one getting physically hurt? Just like public schools can't stop dating, neither can a virtual study school.

This proves to me that ALL of you guys come here more for social interaction than you do for studying and helping. This website is for Helping others and recieveing help. it is AGAINST CoC to interact with another user flirtatiously. if you guys want to do that go on another social website like Facebook. im sure @shadowfiend can vouch for that.

I've already addressed this a few times, but I'll just leave it at this: The societal separation between social interaction and studying/helping is artificial at best, and I think it's more likely to be harmful to learning than beneficial to it.
