How do I factor this: 16(x+1)^3 +2?

    16x^3 + 48x^2 +48x + 18

    first do the exponent. (x+1)(x+1)(x+1) Foil two of them then distribute.

    After finishing distributing, you will have to do it again with the 16. Collect like terms at the end and you will get the answer.
