What is the course title?
its for a self assessment ..
its for English class
vocabulary is good, it is proven that expanding your vocab can increase your intelligence due to the positive impact it has on critical thinking and communication.
so should i change the wording around ??? maybe have it say "I want to improve my vocabulary"?
Writing more formally can open the doors to many career opportunities such as academic publishing, journalism, or technical writing. These are all things that you can do when you master the written language and the different writing styles that are used. Are there other writing styles that you find interesting?
I would elaborate on the idea some more, expand on the basic idea with additional sentences. Provide 3 - 4 sentences on why you want to develop your vocabulary and steps you will take in the class to achieve that outcome.
hmm okay cool thanks :) :) i think i can do that :)
So far for your desired outcomes in taking the course you have mentioned improved vocabulary, exploring writing styles (and getting better at formal writing), and increased confidence in communication. For confidence, you might speak to your desire to communicate effectively in different situations. For instance, formal communications skills can help your confidence in school and the job market. Flesh out these 3 topics with 3 -4 sentences each and you will have a nice 2 paragraph answer. Good luck!
thanks !!! :)
This type of question is better suited for our Writing group so please post it there in the future.
