Leonard and his family left home on a trip and drove for 2.5 hours before they stop to eat after 1 hour they were back on the road they arrived at there destination 3 hours later at 6:15 what time did they leave home?

    we need to find out how long the trip took and then subtract that from the arrival time of 6:15

    to find out how long the trip took we can add up each of the times given \[2.5 hours + 1 hour + 3 hours = total time\]

    the times given are 11:15 am 11:45 am 3:15 pm 12:25 pm
