well.. do u know how to solve linier equation one variable ?
9x+27=6x+66

- anonymous

Refresh my memory?

- anonymous

i just need to know how to do this one problem step by step then ill understand everything else
i just need a structure to follow

- anonymous

@RadEn

- anonymous

i have to go in like 2mins but i will try to come back in a few das or few hours

- anonymous

please leave a step by step problem solving reply

- RadEn

ops, sorry i was just new answering to other mmbers
oke, from :
9x+27=6x+66
(move 6x to left side but change its sign, and same for 27 move to right)
9x-6x = 66-27
3x = 39 (both sides divided by 3)
3x/3 = 39/3
x = 13

Ty

- anonymous

i will take not of this

- anonymous

is there like

- anonymous

more to the problem?

- anonymous

i got to go please leave the rest of he problem below

- RadEn

sorry, i serve 2 member ...
ok, now look ur graph.
measure RSL = 9x+27
just put x=3, what is ?

- RadEn

do u understand when i got x=3 ?

- RadEn

13*

- anonymous

what does it have to do with getting any of the answer choices below?

m (RSL) = 9x + 27
m (RSL) = 9(13) + 27 = ... ?

- anonymous

144

- RadEn

game is over :)

- anonymous

like how did you get 3x?!

- anonymous

>_<

- anonymous

Wait enplane further!

- anonymous

explain

- RadEn

9x-6x = 3x

- anonymous

where did 3x come from? @RadEn

- anonymous

oh

- anonymous

I get it its just all the problems are so far apart...you wouldn't mind re writing them all again together step by step? @RadEn

- RadEn

ok, lets start from the figure :
|dw:1350413463354:dw|

- RadEn

the property of vertical angles, it should be same for both

- anonymous

yes

- anonymous

sorry im doing other class work as well as this one

- RadEn

from ur figure, a=9x+27 and b=6x+66
|dw:1350413801728:dw|

- RadEn

therefore,
9x+27 = 6x+66

- RadEn

just running algebra process
9x+27 = 6x+66
9x-6x = 66-27
3x = 39
so far, so good ?

- anonymous

and the next step please.

- RadEn

3x = 39
divided by 3 for both sides, so
3x/3 = 39/3
x = 13

- anonymous

Keep going

- RadEn

next, look at the figure... what's ur question ?
find m(RSL), right ?

- anonymous

please the whole process

- anonymous

9x+27 = 6x+66
9x-6x = 66-27
3x = 39
3x = 39
divided by 3 for both sides, so
3x/3 = 39/3
x = 13

- anonymous

i ment put every thing to gether ike i showed u above

- anonymous

from begining to end

- anonymous

9x+27 = 6x+66
9x-6x = 66-27
3x = 39
3x = 39
divided by 3 for both sides, so
3x/3 = 39/3
x = 13
m (RSL) = 9x + 27
m (RSL) = 9(13) + 27 = 144

- anonymous

this is what i wanted to see.

- RadEn

Ok, i repeat again :)
9x+27 = 6x+66
9x-6x = 66-27
3x = 39 3x = 39
divided by 3 for both sides,
3x/3 = 39/3
so, x = 13.
to find the value of m(RSL)=9x+27
substitute x=13 to right side
so, m(RSL) = 9(13)+27 = 117 + 27 = 144 degrees

- anonymous

TYSM

- anonymous

i can understand it better this way

- anonymous

I will review it now to make sure i understand

- RadEn

welcome...

- anonymous

Lol :]
