    But your function is y = |x - 8| It's in absolute value, and thus cannot have negative values (values below the x axis) So, what to do, you reflect everything below the x-axis with respect to the x-axis, in effect, bringing everything below, above |dw:1350439515637:dw| (the black part is the answer)
