solve: -6x-15+7x=-5

    You need to isolate x by itself. A first step would be to add 15 to both sides. What would we have after you do this?

    That is correct! Now, we have -6x+7x=10. Because both -6 and -7 have an x attached, we can combine like terms. What is -6x+7x?
