Think back to how Marisa described Cuban homes and how Cuban homes compare to your own home. What are the similarities? What are the differences? Print the graphic organizer below or create your own graphic organizer to write your sentences. Write three complete Spanish sentences describing Marisa’s house in Cuba. Write three complete Spanish sentences describing your own home. Write four complete Spanish sentences describing the differences between Marisa’s house and your own home. this is how many i need

Well, una cocina = a kitchen... if you translate all those works, you can describe the house: e.g., ella tiene una estufa negra, una lámpara, los gabinetes son blancos, tiene un televisor, una cocina, una cocina de gas, y una microonda blanca. (exactly what you wrote in English). I have no idea what you own house looks like, so you need to first write a sentence out in English, and try to translate it. If you don't kow simple vocabulary, check google or a dictionary for the words (not the sentences). It'll be easy to describe the differences, as you can say, "I have a black microwave, but she has a white one" and you'll be safe

for mine i came up with mi casa tiene armarios azules y una estufa de blanco y negro.
anonymous
  • anonymous
mmm I don't think, that if you want to compare the two houses, that you have enough information there... but it's a good sentence to start off with! use "estufa blanca y negra" instead and don't use de...
anonymous
  • anonymous
ok and im just doing what my house looks like for now the second one 1 mi casa tiene armarios azules y una estufa de blanco y negro. 2 mi casa cuenta con 4 lámparas. 3. También el microondas es negro. 4. de Finalmente tengo tres televisores en mi casa
anonymous
  • anonymous
for some correction: 1) mi casa tiene armarios azules y una estufa blanca y negra 2) mmm I'd leave out cuenta.... and still use tiene (even though you want to use different vocabulary... or you can simply write, it has "ella tiene 4 lámparas", leaving out con 3) It looks like you're already trying to compare, so don't write tambien (also)... or you can write, tambien, tiene microondas negros. (also, it has black microwaves) 4) Finalmente, tengo tres televisores en mi casa (leave out de).

anonymous
  • anonymous
well if you write out the 4 sentences as : 1) mi casa tiene armarios azules y una estufa blanca y negra 2) ella tiene 4 lámparas 3) tambien, tiene microondas negros. 4)Finalmente, tengo tres televisores en mi casa then it's perfecto!

here are the other ones 1. en casa de María tienen una lámpara 2. maria no tiene una estufa de gas y es 3. maria también tiene armarios blancos 4. maria último tiene una lámpara y un televisor en la sala de estar
anonymous
  • anonymous
1. en la casa de María, tiene una lámpara 2. Maria no tiene una estufa de gas (but Maria does have an electric heater ~ so that's wrong) 3. Maria también tiene armarios blancos 4. último, Maria tiene una lámpara y un televisor en la sala de estar. (are you comparing or just mentioning María's house?)
anonymous
  • anonymous
just mentioning
anonymous
  • anonymous
Ok, but you mentioned that Maria does have una estufa de gas earlier on... so you can't write no tiene.
anonymous
  • anonymous

anonymous

1. una cosa lo mismo en las casas de yo y de María, son los televiores en la sala de estar 2. un otra cosa similar es el horno de microondas. Las dos casas tienen uno de esos. 3. penúltimo, en la casa de Maria, tiene más que uno televisor, pero yo tengo solo uno en la sala de estar. 4. último, yo tengo una estufa eléctrica pero María tiene una estufa de gas para cocinar. That should make it right XD Which translator are you using?
