My doctor mentioned that there were some organic chemicals withe the name Catecholamines. Having know for a while a lot of biochemicals, like lactase , protien kinases, and rubisco. So he wanted to know the answer. As to the kinds of biochemicals, also this was one that I figured had to due with catabolism. What is the role of the catecholamines?

    Cathecholamines are neurotransmitters.

    catecholamines are hormones released by adrenal medulla in response to fight or flight( exercise etc.) and they also increases the metabolism rate.
