I am getting ready to send out a blog, but let me talk to you all first. We launched Certificates of Participation today. As you know many of you have been asking for some way to document the awesomeness you display on OpenStudy. Well, as it turns out many of our partners were getting the same request. So we are partnering with people that have cool courses and who want to offer a certificate - to offer you folks the opportunity to sign up for certs. What does this mean? You work through the content on our partner sites. Then you work on the problems here on the site. Ask for help. Share your work. And help others. You have to ask a few questions on each of the sub topics of the course and have to answer a few questions on each subtopic. Then if your SmartScore starts increasing and you have sustained activity in this course study group, we can give you a certificate. Simple for OpenStudy pros!

What can you use this Cert for? Those of you applying to college should tack this on. Its an extracurricular that shows you have the ability to work in teams, problemsolve and engage with college courses. And if you are applying for a job, this should come in handy! Either way, it will help you stand out from the crowd, right?

Thanks folks. I am counting on you all, our most loyal users to help us make this offering work. Thanks Joe. The weekend is going well! Yes Parth, you will need to pay for the certs. But I think it will be worth your while. So join the early adopters!
