 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
yes "different kinds of food" if I tell you that "kinds of" is "typos de" can you translate it?
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
idk how to translate the rest though.. :( please help?? :D
 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
you can't translate the word "different"?
 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
yes, but here it is plural, so "differentes" I assume you know the word for "food" so you should now be able to translate " I eat different kinds of food"
 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
diferentes* no double f :P
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
idk how to translate the rest cuz i gotta go soon :( please help??? :D
 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
I am helping, and when you return I will help you more, but I won't translate it for you. That would not help you learn the material.
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
nvm lol false alarm! haha okay continue?? :D
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
change in plans so yeah I'm back for awhile :)
 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
so what have you got for " I eat different kinds of food" ?
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
yo como diferentes la comida. ???
 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
what happened to "kinds of" ? I told you how to tranlate that also you don't need "la" because it is not singular maybe it is easier to translate "I eat different foods"
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
oh okay so is it this? yo como diferentes clases de comida. ???
 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
that is tolerable, I think yo como clases/tipos de comidas diferentes (remember diferentes is an adjective, which usually goes after the noun in spanish)
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
so i write sentence 1 like this? Yo como clases de comidas diferentes. ???
 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
yeah that's okay yours is not technically wrong though
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
okay, which is better though, the first one i wrote or the one i just wrote??
 one year ago

TuringTestBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
Well this is where it is hard for me to say, because I live in Mexico so I use their form of speech, but in class they probably want a more international version. I think both are equally acceptable, but I suppose that yo como diferentes clases de comida/alimentos. is safer
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
okay aweosme!! what about sentence 2??
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
yo ?? idk off the top of my head :(
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
or is it yo tengo??
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
I have = yo tengo
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
mucho?? or is it muchos??
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
it's muchos because you're talking about a plural thing (friends and not friend)
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
new friends = ???
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
oh okay, and nuevos amigos ???
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
i think it would be amigos nuevos
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so put it all together, we get I have many new friends = Yo tengo muchos amigos nuevos
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
ohh i see. so sentence 2 is like this? 2) yo tengo muchos amigos nuevos. ??
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
yes i think so
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
okay, whata bout #3?? i know friday is viernes but idk the rest.
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
I saw = yo veo ...I think
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
oh wait, that's I see...hmm
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
I think it's I saw = Yo vi
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
http://www.spanishdict.com/translate/ver#conjugation
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
I'm using that site to help me translate
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
according to that website I saw the Statue of Liberty = Vi la estatua de la libertad
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
i think i can just say statue of liberty tho :)
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
true, it's like a name
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
yeah so how do i write #3??
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
again using the website, I get El viernes, vi la estatua de la libertad
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
or you can say El viernes, vi la Statue of Liberty I think
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
or maybe it's El viernes, vi el Statue of Liberty
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
sry computer crashed on me
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
and I'm not sure
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
its okay :) so which one is it??
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
it's a name, but the name doesn't have any gender (that I know of?)
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so why not go with el
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
I think if no gender is known, it's automatically masculine...I think
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
okay i'll just go with el :) so i have this for #3?? 3) El viernes, vi el Statue of Liberty
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
sounds good to me
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
aweosme!! what about #4 now??
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
I am walking = Estoy caminando
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
okay and then what? :)
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
through the streets = por las calles through the crowded streets = por las calles atestadas
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
and there are so many cars and people = y hay muchos carros y gente I think that's how you would say that piece
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
i think i will just say through the streets
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
so #4 is like this? 4) Estoy caminando por las calles y hay muchos carros y gente. ???
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
or 4) Estoy caminando por las calles y hay muchos carros y personas.
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
hmm i think gente is plural of person (so gente = people) but... you can say personas as like they're a collection of persons So I think either one would work
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
oh you forgot atestadas
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
wait so how should i write out #4 then??
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
just add atestadas after calles
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so one way to write it is Estoy caminando por las calles atestadas y hay muchos carros y personas.
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
okay, and what about #5??
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1

 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0

 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0

 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
yeah that's what I would write
 one year ago

^^^7) Estoy muy emocionado pero nervioso tambien
 one year ago

 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
to tell you = para decirle hmm not sure on the last bit
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
hmm so what do i write for #7??
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
hmm not 100%, but I think it would be I cannot wait to tell you all about it Yo no puedo esperar para decirle
 one year ago

iheartfoodBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0
so for #7 i write that ?? 7) Yo no puedo esperar para decirle. ???
 one year ago

jim_thompson5910Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
i think so, that sounds right (to me at least)
 one year ago
