So Tangent = Adjacent over Opposite

pokemon23 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so x=64.35

pokemon23 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
but its say nearest centimeter

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
Messed that up sorry. It's going to be tan(54) = x/50
 2 years ago

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so solve for that.

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
now solve using SOHCAHTOA

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so tan(54) = x/50

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so 1.376 = x/50 x = ?

pokemon23 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
round to nearest cm

pokemon23 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
which i 68.80 if im right

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
whole centimeter bud

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so if you have 65.36 centimeters, rounding to 65.4 isn't rounding to the nearest centimeter, that would be millimeter.

pokemon23 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
facepalm..........

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
you have to round to the nearest centimeter which would be 69
 2 years ago

pokemon23 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so just 69.

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
but do you understand why?

pokemon23 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
can you explain to the nearest centimeter.

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
well if you have 66.74 centimeters that means you have 66 WHOLE centimeters and .74 of a centimeter correct?

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so why would you round to 66.7 centimeters? You would still have 66 centimeters and .7 of a centimeter
 2 years ago

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
Instead, you round to the next WHOLE centimeter which is 67, make sense?

pokemon23 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
because of third digit is higher than 5 it raises the number right.

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
yes 5+ = round up 4 = round down

tukajo Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
so round these to the nearest centimeter for me: 55.34 = ? 57.49 = ? 73.50 = ? 110.2 = ?

pokemon23 Group TitleBest ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1
55 57 74 110
