I know that but I'm not sure I know x=opposite and 50 is adj
solve for the other angle
you have the corner angle as 54 degrees?
in this case is this a tan?
Tan(36)*41
dw:1351054517099:dw
correct?
dw:1351054589727:dw
correct?
You there?
dw:1351054690061:dw
so? i did it correctly?
So Tangent = Adjacent over Opposite
understand?
so x=64.35
but its say nearest centimeter
Messed that up sorry. It's going to be tan(54) = x/50
so solve for that.
Tell me: Tan(54) = ?
1.37638192
now solve using SOHCAHTOA
so tan(54) = x/50
so 1.376 = x/50 x = ?
I got 68.81
correct
round to nearest cm
which i 68.80 if im right
whole centimeter bud
so if you have 65.36 centimeters, rounding to 65.4 isn't rounding to the nearest centimeter, that would be millimeter.
facepalm..........
you have to round to the nearest centimeter which would be 69
understand?
so just 69.
should be
but do you understand why?
can you explain to the nearest centimeter.
well if you have 66.74 centimeters that means you have 66 WHOLE centimeters and .74 of a centimeter correct?
so why would you round to 66.7 centimeters? You would still have 66 centimeters and .7 of a centimeter
Instead, you round to the next WHOLE centimeter which is 67, make sense?
because of third digit is higher than 5 it raises the number right.
yes 5+ = round up 4- = round down
so round these to the nearest centimeter for me: 55.34 = ? 57.49 = ? 73.50 = ? 110.2 = ?
kk
55 57 74 110
correct :)
I think I got them all wrong T_T
oh.
no you were all right
thank you :) for the help. your help me clear out my struggle.
no problem, have a good day.
