how do I get the 6.01 libraries and special modules and simulators to do the lab sessions at home?

    It's in the "Software and Tools" section. Just go to the course site and select Software and Tools from the sidebar menu on the left, then pick the appropriate operating system (for your setup). I've only tested the Linux instructions, but they worked a treat.
