    So if x=10/3 - 2y/3 and z =-3 then we can write 5x+5y+4z=3 5(10/3 - 2y/3) + 5y +4(-3) = 3 We can now solve for y

    Well I just told you how you can solve for y 5(10/3 - 2y/3) + 5y +4(-3) = 3

okay, I trust that you did the math and are not just taking your friends answer. So we have z= -3 and y = -1|dw:1351126015670:dw|
