anonymous
  • anonymous
um, so would that b number one in darius' dilemma!
anonymous
  • anonymous
WHAT THATS WHAT B=12 IN THE PROBLEM
anonymous
  • anonymous
yes, is that problem number one!
anonymous
  • anonymous
NO THATS THE ANSWER TO NUMBER 4
anonymous
  • anonymous
U SAID U HAD 123 ALREADY DONE
anonymous
  • anonymous
o ok, ive to work it out
anonymous
  • anonymous
yes, the fill in the blanks part, however ive to work them out
anonymous
  • anonymous
OH U GOTTA SHOW UR WORK 13*13=169 5*5=25 169-25= 144 THE SQ ROOT OF 144 = 12 SO B=12 SEE I WORKED OUT NUMBER 4 FOR U
anonymous
  • anonymous
o wow tnx, ill writenthat down
anonymous
  • anonymous
NUMBER ONE WORKED OUT IS 3*3=9 4*4=16 9+16=25 THE SQ ROOT OF 25 IS 5 SO C=5
anonymous
  • anonymous
tnx am writing:)
anonymous
  • anonymous
done:)
anonymous
  • anonymous
NUMBER 2 WORKED OUT IS 24*24=576 7*7=49 576+49=625 SQ ROOT OF 625= 25 SO C=25
anonymous
  • anonymous
you shall receive a fan and a medal
anonymous
  • anonymous
NUMBER 3 WORKED OUT 12*12=144 15*15=225 225-144= 81 SQ ROOT OF 81=9 SO A=9
anonymous
  • anonymous
NUMBER 5 WORKED OUT IS 8*8=64 10*10=100 100-64=36 SQ ROOT OF 36=6 SO A=6
anonymous
  • anonymous
tnx!

anonymous
  • anonymous
Hello.*Shakes hand*
anonymous
  • anonymous
As you can see, Duncan helped me o 1-5 so fohr more and i know the theorem, yes
anonymous
  • anonymous
yes, a^2+b^2=c^2
anonymous
  • anonymous
Oh.
anonymous
  • anonymous
Um, so will we redo the problems?
anonymous
  • anonymous
i really need help,Mr. Nincompoop so, are they wrong, the onces duncan helped me with?
anonymous
  • anonymous
Ive to go at about 12:10, b back in about 45 minutes after,so can you wait when i leave?
anonymous
  • anonymous
why,thanks
anonymous
  • anonymous
por lookimg
anonymous
  • anonymous
im not sure now..
anonymous
  • anonymous
yes, i know, i would like some assistance with the problems.
anonymous
  • anonymous
Okay.
anonymous
  • anonymous
I will redo it then. After, will you do me a favor and check my work?
anonymous
  • anonymous
Gotta go, brb in about 45 minutes.
anonymous
  • anonymous
Wow. Ok, that is going to take me a couple minutes to read through the whole thread...
anonymous
  • anonymous
im doing number eit right now on the darius part, i did 5 6 and 7 so can u check them plz?
anonymous
  • anonymous
ok ill wait.
anonymous
  • anonymous
i need help with the last two in the darius part. as mentioned in the question, the triangular trouble part is extra credit
anonymous
  • anonymous
on 5. i got 5.8 as the answer, 6 i got 7.4, 7 i got 6.3 the others, 1-4 rduncan helped me with and i dont get 8-9
anonymous
  • anonymous
#5 is 'landscaper' to 'farmer' distance?
anonymous
  • anonymous
yes
anonymous
  • anonymous
at least, thats what i got,5.8 miles using web2.0calc.com
anonymous
  • anonymous
Alright... assuming the landscaper is the guy with the lawnmower, and the farmer is the guy with the pitchfork, I'm getting the distance to be 5.46 miles.
anonymous
  • anonymous
oh? how? and your assumptions are correct
anonymous
  • anonymous
and what problem are you talking about?
anonymous
  • anonymous
CliffSedge: "#5 is 'landscaper' to 'farmer' distance?" helpmeplz311: "yes"
anonymous
  • anonymous
i got number five to be 5.8 miles, distance from ast side of doctors office to painter.srry i was confused
anonymous
  • anonymous
Here's the how. |dw:1351373288482:dw|
anonymous
  • anonymous
Then I suppose I'm answering #7. (I can't see the problem numbers in your pictures.)
anonymous
  • anonymous
Im very confused. Can we start with number one?(see abovr, rduncans reply). is that correct?
anonymous
  • anonymous
These pictures are too confusing to read. Is there any other way you can list out the data?
anonymous
  • anonymous
Er... let me see
anonymous
  • anonymous
what do you suggest?
anonymous
  • anonymous
If you can interpret from the pictures what the relevant sides of each triangle are.
anonymous
  • anonymous
yes, i guess so
anonymous
  • anonymous
I will try talking clearer pictures, sound good?
anonymous
  • anonymous
I can't tell from that picture where the 'veterinarian' is or the 'restaurant.' etc.
anonymous
  • anonymous
ohhhhn
anonymous
  • anonymous
ok,so the guy at the board, see him? hes amteacher
anonymous
  • anonymous
If they were translated into a more mathematical "Point A is at (0,3), point B is at (4,5)" sort of relation then it would be trivial.
anonymous
  • anonymous
oh. well, do you want me romtell you who is wh?
anonymous
  • anonymous
It would be better if you could isolate each triangle from the picture and say leg a = ___, leg b = ___.
anonymous
  • anonymous
oh ok
anonymous
  • anonymous
triangle a will be teacher to vet leg a
anonymous
  • anonymous
oh no he left helpmeplz duncan?
anonymous
  • anonymous
ok what u need help with lol hi again btw lol
anonymous
  • anonymous
hey:)
anonymous
  • anonymous
ok so i need help with eight and nine
anonymous
  • anonymous
and ru sure thebother ones are right ?
anonymous
  • anonymous
and brb
anonymous
  • anonymous
yes im sure the other ones are right
anonymous
  • anonymous
i cant help u with 8 or 9 cuz u didnt graph out what u needed to so i dont know where everything is.
anonymous
  • anonymous
ok, plz i beg u help with thenother ones and il write a testimonial
anonymous
  • anonymous
how do i graph it out?
anonymous
  • anonymous
idk
anonymous
  • anonymous
um, can u tell me what 5 6 and 7 are then?
anonymous
  • anonymous
i told u what 5 was
anonymous
  • anonymous
tell me again plz?
anonymous
  • anonymous
o k tnx, i really neednhelp on 8-9 tho
anonymous
  • anonymous
ok mabie i didnt cuz i need the graph u were supposed to make
anonymous
  • anonymous
i wssnt told to make any graph...
anonymous
  • anonymous
idk then im confused mabie it gives u a graph
anonymous
  • anonymous
no... its ok. whatever...oh well
anonymous
  • anonymous
im sorry dont be mad
anonymous
  • anonymous
its all pythagorean theorem....use \(a^2+b^2=c^2\) like for number 6 do \(14^2+17^2=x^2~~~\implies~~~196+289=x^2~~~\implies~~~x^2=485~~~\implies~~~x=22.02\) so given that answer you would color the triangle pink :) get it? :D
anonymous
  • anonymous
@helpmeplz311 i hope this helps..is quite an easy assignment...have fun! ;)
