    The answer can't B (sinx - cosx)^2 = (sinx)^2 - 2sinxcosx + (cosx)^2 (sinx)^2 + (cosx)^2 = 1; 2sinxcosx = sin2x therefore, (sinx - cosx)^2 = 1- sin2x
