Using the terms diffusion, NaOH, and phenolphthalein, explain how the pink color showed how far into the agar cube the solution went.

    Okay, so three things here: (1) Greater NaOH turns phenolphthalein what colour? (Hint: OH- is a base) (2) How would NaOH move into the cube?

    1) it turns pink 2) we soaked it for ten minutes making the agar cube looked framed by pink
