If ΔEDR ≅ ΔYAP, then ∠E = ∠Y ED = YA ∠D = ∠A and DR = AP ∠R = ∠P ER = YP Conditions for Congruence: i). ΔEDR ≅ ΔYAP if three pairs of corresponding sides are equal, such that ED = YA DR = AP ER = YP This is called sidesideside congruency or SSS≅ ii). ΔEDR ≅ ΔYAP if two pairs of corresponding sides and the angles contained between the sides are equal, such that ED = YA ∠D = ∠A DR = AP This is called sideangleside congruency or SAS≅ iii).
