Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Today's release was just a few more performance improvements in the backend. At this point we've dealt with every hot spot we've found, so if things are still running slow, we're going to have to start getting clever. We'll be keeping an eye out over the course of today to see if we've done enough or if more need be done.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2Based on the name of this release, I better get candy if it didn't work. :P

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I think something is wrong with the mobile version.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Derpety. What issues are you seeing with the mobile version?

myininaya

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0The mobile version seems to be acting correctly now. Earlier the user listing was showing under some questions. Nothing was clickable. P.S. I just took a screenshot of where the login failed if you wanna see that.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Dear Diary, and then OpenStudy froze my computer when I tried to post and OpenStudy was made me loose my online game. The end.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Moral of the story: OpenStudy froze my computer until it wouldn't respond.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1@myininaya yes, that would be cool :) @sephi I'm sad to hear that, it seems very odd. We certainly didn't introduce anything that should have frozen anyone's computer. Do you have an unusually high number of notifications or some such?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0This account has very few. Brand new computer with nice specs. Matter of fact, it froze it to the point were task manager wouldn't open and I had to shutdown my computer and restart it. Makes me sad ;;

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1I will confess that even in our worst moments, I've never known OpenStudy by itself to freeze a computer. It would freeze a browser, but never a computer. So I'd look to at least a partner in crime, if not another culprit altogether.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0It wouldn't load that weird coding at the bottom left. It just said [math/xx/x] or something.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1So the thing is, even if MathJax was going crazy (which has happened), a given window/tab can only use one thread, and therefore one CPU or core, of your computer. If you do have a new computer, it's basically guaranteed that you've got at least two of those, so there's no way that would have blocked your entire machine.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0I was on an online game + OpenStudy. I think it was a combination of MathJax going completely crazy, and my online game lagging.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0It happened again this morning. It won't let me login from that page.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Ok. Well it did fail again and I did do a refresh. It seems that refresh worked that time.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Ok, so what happens is you pull up OpenStudy, you type in your credentials, you click login, and then nothing happens?

myininaya

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Right. Nothing happens.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0For Me It Says OS server not available sometimes and sometimes ^

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Hmm. Yeah, that's odd. I mean, it means the server's lagging, but we've had very little indication of server lag the past few days, so it's very surprising that you'd see that issue. I'll look into it.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Yeah, I'm not surprised you were seeing it 18 days ago, but I am surprised that you've seen it the last 45 or so :)
