    You need to do 2 at a time. Start with eq 2 & 3 2x -y + 5x = -9 2x - 10y - 5z = 0 subtract 2 from 1 2x -y + 5x = -9 -2x + 10y + 5z = 0 ( i changed the signs so we can add instead) 9y + 10z = -9 Now we have to to 1 & 3 x + 5y - 4z = -10 Multiply everything by -2 2x - 10y - 5z = 0 -2x - 10y + 8z = 20 2x - 10y - 5z = 0 (add them) -20y + 3z = 20
