    Hello. Could someone explain the following to me, in a simple way? - loose sentences -periodic sentences Thanks in advance.

      If you put your main point at the beginning of a long sentence, you are writing a loose sentence. While a periodic sentence is the exact opposite, withholding the main meaning of a sentence until the end :)
