    you could write \[\frac{\sin(x)}{\sin(x)\cos(x)}-\frac{\cos(x)}{\sin(x)\cos(x)}\] \[=\frac{1}{\cos(x)}-\frac{1}{\sin(x)}\] \[=\sec(x)-\csc(x)\] if you like
