Well, I don't know what your question is. Let n be log₂12. (n = log₂12) Convert it into exponent form: 2ⁿ = 12, if you want exponent form. If you want to calculate it, you can simplify log₂12 to ln12/ln2. Does this help?

To get 2 + log₂3: log₂12 = log₂(3·4). = log₂4 + log₂3 = 2 + log₂3
