using the quote below i have to discuss the influence of the Declaration of Independence and how Jefferson's writing style was crucial to the impact of the document. "The Declaration is a work of consummate artistry. From its eloquent introduction to its aphoristic maxims of government, to its relentless accumulation of charges against George III, to its elegiac denunciation of the British people, to its heroic closing sentence, it sustains an almost perfect synthesis of style, form and content."

The influence of the declaration of Independence on whom? Nowadays ? or people of the time?

The writing of the declaration was crucial in the fact that if it wasn't written as eloquently as it was, it would not have been taken seriously. Jefferson was actually not the first to write it, the original was about two paragraphs. The committee knew that if it wasn't rewritten and elaborated on it would not do any justice. The declaration is a justification as to why the colonies were breaking away from their mother country.
