The generalized equation A + B → AB represents a __________ reaction. decomposition double displacement single displacement synthesis I'm pretty sure it would be a single dissplacment but im not sure

    It would be synthesis. Decomposition: \[AB \rightarrow A + B\] Double Displacement:\[AB + CD \rightarrow AC + BD\] Single Displacement:\[A + BC \rightarrow AC+B\]

    for a single displacment would it matter if the equation was A+BC~> B+AC?
