Choose the point which is a solution to the system of inequalities: 2x – y > 7 5x – y > 2 a. (–2, –5) b. (–2, 5) c. (2, –5) d. (2, 5)
You can either solve it, or just guess 'n' check. If you choose to solve it, get it so that they are both y='s equations and then place the equations equal to one another so that then you can solve for x.
I am trying to reteach myself algebra so I need help lol O.o
Thank you PrincessLeigh.
*rolls eye* PrincessLeigh reached that conclusion by subbing in each point of (x,y) into the equation and discovering what was the correct answer. Basically guess and checking.
What's your point?
